1. Overview

The StarMatch VIP Concession Card (“Card”) is a prepaid service credit issued by Emerging Angels Limited (trading as StarMatch) that allows the holder to access StarMatch services over time.

The Card is designed to provide flexibility, value, and ease of booking across eligible StarMatch services, including astrology readings and related offerings.

2. Nature of the Card

The Card is a stored-value prepaid product, not a financial instrument.

It may be used as payment (full or partial) toward eligible StarMatch services.

No interest accrues on any unused balance.

It is not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

3. Value & Bonus Structure

The Card may be issued with a bonus value (e.g. pay $400, receive $500 value).

The bonus portion: Has no cash value Is only redeemable for StarMatch services May be forfeited if the Card is refunded (if applicable)

4. Pricing Basis

All services redeemed using the Card are charged at StarMatch’s current service pricing at the time of booking, not at the time of purchase.

StarMatch reserves the right to update pricing at any time.

The Card balance will be deducted based on the live price of the selected service.

5. Expiry (NZ Compliance)

The Card will have a minimum expiry period of 12 months from the date of purchase, in line with New Zealand consumer expectations for gift cards.

Any expiry date will be: Clearly disclosed at the time of purchase Provided in writing (email or receipt)

After expiry: Any unused balance may be forfeited unless otherwise required under applicable law.

6. Use & Redemption

The Card can be used: Online through StarMatch booking systems At checkout where gift card functionality is supported

The Card: Can be used across multiple bookings until the balance is exhausted Cannot be used for services outside StarMatch offerings

If a booking exceeds the Card balance: The remaining amount must be paid via another accepted payment method

7. Booking & Cancellation

All bookings made using the Card remain subject to StarMatch booking policies:

Standard cancellation / rescheduling terms apply

Late cancellations or no-shows may result in: Full or partial deduction from the Card balance

8. Non-Transferability & Misuse

Cards are intended for use by the purchaser or nominated recipient

StarMatch reserves the right to: Cancel or suspend Cards suspected of misuse, fraud, or resale

Cards cannot be resold or used for commercial purposes without written consent

9. Lost or Stolen Cards

Cards should be treated like cash

StarMatch is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorised use

Replacement may be issued at StarMatch’s discretion where proof of purchase is available

10. Refunds

Cards are generally non-refundable once issued

Where a refund is required under New Zealand consumer law: Any bonus value will be excluded Only the amount paid will be considered

11. Service Availability

StarMatch services are subject to: Availability of practitioners Scheduling capacity Business operating conditions

Holding a Card does not guarantee immediate availability of appointments.

12. Privacy & Data Use

Customer information collected during purchase or redemption will be handled in accordance with: The New Zealand Privacy Act 2020

By purchasing or using the Card, you consent to: Being contacted regarding bookings, reminders, and service updates Receiving relevant StarMatch communications (email, SMS, or phone), with the option to opt out at any time

13. Changes to Terms

StarMatch reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time, provided that changes do not unfairly disadvantage existing Card holders.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
